Tarring and feathering tax collectors, burning down British officials' and Loyalists' homes, destroying British goods (i.e. Boston Tea Party) and creating exaggerated propaganda (i.e. Revere's engraving) are just a few examples of how far the Patriots went to express their dissatisfaction with England. Do you feel these actions were justified in order to achieve the ultimate goal of freedom or did these Sons of Liberty sometimes take things too far?
