  1. t’s still very important that we celebrate Veteran’s Day and keep it on our national calendar. The reason for this is because the USA has so many veterans that should be honored. After all, they were willing to sacrifice their lives for our country. The veterans who came home safely are often gravely injured: many have lost limbs or lost good health in general because of the effects the dangerous places the war took them had. I’m thankful for the nation’s veterans for the same reasons the rest of our country is: because they have made huge sacrifices for our country and for the freedom of everyone in it.

  4. Veterans Day is still important to celebrate because it honor's the people that sacrifice themselves to protect the people they love and the us citizens. Also, they keep america free from other country's and keep our citizens free of dictatorship. I favor this holiday because my grandfather served 4 years in the military.

  5. After learning about the origins of Veterans Day, I believe that it is important to continue having this holiday on our national holiday. It is important to show veterans how grateful we are of their sacrifices, and also how grateful we are of the freedoms have. We need to show that we care about the freedoms the constitution gave us, and how veterans, from every war, kept us safe. I am thankful to the nation’s veterans for keeping our constitutional rights and keeping us safe.

  6. It is important to celebrate veterans day on our calendar. These men and women fought for our freedom and should be recognized for it. After all, without them we might not have these freedoms now. I believe that we should recognize the on veterans day because they fought for our country. They knew how dangerous the risks are and they still took it anyway. I am thankful for their service in the military. It is something that they should be honored and thanked for. Having a day for them is one way to honor the fallen and thank the servicing.

  7. I think it is really important to keep Veterans day in our national calendar. I think its important because its a day for all the veterans to come together and feel really proud of themselves and their friends and family. Its a day where they all really feel noticed and respected and everyone should have that feeling and the veterans really earn it. They go out and risk their lives for everyone all the time so i think it is very important for veterans day to stay and be recognized. I am thankful for our nations veterans because if it wasn't for them we would be the ones having to go out there and fight for our county and protect people. Without them we wouldn't be as safe as we are today.

  8. Veterans day is one of America's most important holidays because it recognizes the people who sacrificed their lives to keep America safe and free. Many people in America's military have died and never been identified, and Veterans day can honor them.

  9. I believe that Veterans Day is a very important holiday to continue to celebrate. We need to thank and honor our veterans by having parades, homecomings, and parties in their honor. In addition, we have to give our Veterans a break. They deserve at least one day a year to relax and be with their families.

It is also important that we honor those who are not with us. We can honor the memories and loved ones of those who have died for us and our country. The families of these men and women can see how their loved one have affected our country, and can mourn over them.

I am thankful to our nation’s Veteran because they have kept me and my country safe for hundreds of years. They put their lives on the line, so we don’t have to. These men and women would rather die, than have their country put in jeopardy of danger.

Veterans day is one of our country’s most important holidays, and I am very thankful for our Veterans.

I believe that it is still important to celebrate veteran's day so we can always honor the passed heroes today. All the soldiers that we honor on veteran's day died for all of our independent rights. That helped us get through our lives.

  11. I think it is still important to continue to have this holiday on our national calendar because, we still should have respect and have sympathy for all of the soldiers that died on World War 1, World War 2, Vietnam War, etc. They fought for are country and should be noticed for their bravery and, courage for fighting for our country. I’m thankful for our nations veterans because, not matter who was attacking, or was opposing, are nation's veterans always seem to come out on top, no matter the cost. Also, there are less wars anymore thanks to them, and some countries they used to be in wars with, can now be called their friends and, make citizens help out in their own ways.

  12. It is still important to celebrate Veterans day and have it considered a national holiday. This is because as a country we have so many Veterans that were willing to give there lives and good health up to protect this county. They fraught for this country and the least they deserve is a day of respect. I am thankful for the veterans and there bravery. I am also thankful for defending this country in its time of need.

  13. I believe that it is important to continue celebrating Veteran’s day as a national holiday. All of America’s veterans have dedicated their lives to protect our country from any threats. They make so many sacrifices just for Americans just like us. There are so many veterans who return home with severe injuries, severed limbs, or brain damage, and there are also many of them who don't return home. They risk their lives to defend America, and all of its citizens, which I am very thankful for, so we should honor them for everything that they have done.

  15. I think Veterans Day is a very important holiday and I think this holiday should always be on our national calendar. I think it is important because people are out in battles to save us. I have a family member who is in the army. Two years ago, he was in Afghanistan for a year and a half. I am very thankful that he came back safe, well, and not wounded.

  16. After learning the origins of Veterans Day, I think it’s very important to continue to have this holiday and honor our veterans. This should definitely remain on the national calendar. It celebrates and honors the people who are served our country. They payed the biggest sacrifice possible and at the least deserve a holiday. These people risk their lives to protect us and sometimes come back with severe injuries or one less limb. I am very thankful for them doing this sacrifice and they should definitely be honored for this.

  17. I think that it is important to continue celebrating Veterans Day because we need to show respect to the people that risk their lives for us. If they didn't fight for us, we would be a completely different country. We may not have our freedom. We could also have ended up belonging to a dictatorship. I am thankful to our veterans because they risk their lives for me and everyone I know every day. They risk their lives every day for everyone is this country! Without them, we would have a completely different home and who knows what would happen to us. Many of us may now even be alive right now.
