  4. If I could go back in time, I would meet Rosa Parks. I would meet her because I admire how she stood up for herself. This is the reason because she might be able to give people advice. Also, I would want to meet her because she is a good role model, so she might inspire you/ me to become a better role model as well. Lastly, I would want to meet her because she's a hero, she changed this world for the better!

  6. if I could travel back to a time when a famous person was living, I would go meet Christopher Columbus on his journey. I have always wondered what he's like, all his different brilliant thoughts. He was a great captain because he was persistent and extremely smart. Christopher is definitely one of my idols, I wish I could meet him and converse about his journeys. Nick D 1-2 A

  7. If I could travel back in time to any period, I would like to travel back to the Trojan War. I would like to travel back to the Trojan War because I know that not all of the story is accurate, and I would like to see how the event played out. I wouldn't want to meet anyone because during the wars if I am asking soldiers questions the assumption that I am a spy is very likely, so I would rather watch the event play out in a safe place. 8. If I could go back to any time period I would go back to the fiftys because it always looked fun. The fashion, parties, food, and stuff they did back then. The people always seemed happy. I just always thought it looked like a cool time period. It doesn't seem like there was many big wars involving the US either. I would also like to meet some of the singers that were from that time period that people still consider famous today. - Morgan N. Period 8/9-10 A

  13. If I could go back to any era for a week it would be to go to the Ancient Greek times because they were so clean and Greece was very peaceful in most cities just not Sparta, but Athens was a place full of art and literature. Back then Athens was pretty much like us just not with our kind of technology.

  14. If I could go back in time to any specific week, it would be to back when New Jersey became a state. I would like to know why they choose to put New Jersey against the Atlantic? Or why they made New Jersey really small? When they decide to help make New Jersey a state, I would help change New Jersey, to make it larger. For example take a chunk out of New York, it is a big state any way. Gavin D. P 10/11 B

  15. If I were to go back in time to any day and age, I would want to go back to the 1950's. I would want to go back to the 1950's because that was when really good musicians became extremely popular. I would want to listen to Elvis Prestly sing Jailhouse Rock on stage. I could also see how the prices were back then. The coffee was only 5 cents at a coffee shop! I would experience many things that I could not experience now.

  16. If I could go back in time for a week in a historical time period I would want to go to the Sparta times because I'm curious how their army was and how all their architecture looked like. I probably wouldn't ask a lot of questions or they wouldn't trust me. Lastly it would be cool to know how they actually designed everything to make it look amazing today.

  17. If I could go back in time and meet one person It would be George Washington, during the revolutionary war. This is because he was so important to the american revolution that he was even appointed to be the leader of the revolution. For example one reason he was so important is at the time he was the general of their army. Another reason he was so important is he encouraged his army to keep fighting, even when it seemed that they were losing the battles. One final reason is because he gave the people hope that the revolution would be successful. Ultimately, If I could go back in time I would want to meet George Washington during the American Revolution.

    1. I would not recommend going back to dinosaur ages. I say this because they are known to kill almost all live prey, except the dinosaurs that are carnivores. Even if you did end up getting dna of a t rex and recreate it it probably would not turn out well in the end.

      Delete
    2. Jack, I disagree with your idea. I disagree because if you went back in time to when the dinosaurs ruled the earth you would be killed. So, even if you did get DNA you would not return alive.

  20. If I could spend a week in a historical time period, I would chose a time a couple years before America was discovered by pilgrims, when it was still mostly inhabited by the American Indians. I have always wanted to go back to this time period particularly because I feel like it would be extremely fun to learn about the outdoors and participate in the ceremonies and hunting that they did. Also, the air would be much cleaner and there would be no factories or buildings to hide the beauty of America. I think that I would be particularly awed by everything that I would see and do there. There would be many things that I could do that would be pretty much impossible now.

  21. If I could go back in time, I would go back to the Revolutionary War. I want to see what it was like when George Washington and revolutionaries won the right to live in America without having to pay taxes to England. I would also like to see what it was like when the constitution was signed, and how the states were divided and created. Last, I want to see what it was like in colonial times. Did they have running water? What time did they go to school? How did they make sure that they didn’t oversleep? I think that going to this time period would be exciting.

  22. If I were to go back in time for a week I would go to the year 1346 so that I could warn the people about the black death. I would help them clean up the city, get rid of all the rats, and stop the plague from happening. If I did this I would be a hero. I would save so many lives, instead of having the plague destroy everyone. Also I would help them with their government. I would tell them that in the future there's is a perfect form of religion and government.

If I got to meet Christopher Columbus and explore with him then I could be one of the founders of the U.S and that would be pretty cool. Imagine having a holiday named after you because you were the one who found this amazing piece of land. Also if I went back in time to meet Christopher I would be able to see how hard it was to live back then. I would learn survival skills that people do not teach today. If I traveled back to Christopher Columbus' time then I could be one of the people that found America and I could learn skills I would never learn today.

I think that it would be interesting to see how divide our country was. Also I could compare it to the present and see how different it is, for example now America is a United Nation. This is why if I could travel back anywhere, anytime, at any event I would travel back to 1864.
