Now that you have learned about Ancient Egypt and its 3 Kingdoms, which one of the three kingdoms would you most like to have lived in? What about that kingdom would make you want to live there?

Pilgrims and Mayflower - 7th Grade

Take on  the role of either a Pilgrim or a Stranger on the Mayflower and at Plymouth. How would you feel about sharing the boat with the other party for 66 days and then living peacefully with them at the Plymouth colony? What changes, if any, would you insist on including in the Mayflower Compact? (Remember QUASI and your first name/period!)

Living in Mesopotamia-6th grade

After reading about the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia, would you have wanted to live there? What facts/details from the text makes you think that it would have been an interesting, or not so interesting, place to live? (Use QUASI, post as anonymous using your first name and period only!)

Early Humans-6th Grade

1) How would the earth have been different if the Neanderthals had not become extinct? What would life be like today?

2) Imagine another intelligent species came to earth and threatened our way of life. Compare/Contrast this scenario with that of the Neanderthals when they came in contact with the Cro-Magnons.

After learning about the Roanoke and Jamestown colonies in class, what advice would you have given these colonists that would have helped them succeed in the New World?
