HOW on earth did we win the Revolution??
In the first years of the American Revolution, it seemed unlikely that the shabby group of men calling themselves the Continental Army could ever beat the world's greatest army (England.) After learning about the war, explain how the colonists did, in fact, succeed in their goal of defeating England and becoming an independent nation.

Declaration of Independence
The signers of the Declaration of Independence were committing TREASON when they signed this important document. The punishment for treason was death. Why do you think the delegates were willing to risk their lives to become an independent nation? Would you have done the same thing? Why or why not?
